Nutrition Class Graduation
The Venezuelan Alliance hosted a nutrition class and workshop in collaboration with the Cornell University Cooperative, where community members spent 8 weeks learning about nutritious eating and cooking habits.
Caballero Counseling Services Holiday Appreciation Dinner and Toy Drive
In appreciation of our partnerships, Caballero Counseling Services hosted a holiday dinner to thank them for their ongoing support of Caballero Counseling and the Venezuelan Alliance for Community Support, Inc. We collected toys that will be donated to children and families within our community support network this holiday season.
FundaveNYC Cocktail Fundraiser: Housing Across Generations
The Venezuelan Alliance was invited to attend FundaveNYC's annual cocktail fundraiser to recognize and celebrate Venezuelan community organizations in New York City. The founder of the Venezuelan Alliance, Rosa Bramble Caballero, LCSW, was honored at the event and presented with a Proclamation from Senator Jessica Ramos.
Shelter Resource Fair
Our team tabled a resource fair in collaboration with other community resources to connect asylum seekers with our services.
